National Championships Conducted by the USGA

The U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship is only one of many national championships conducted by the United States Golf Association.  Below is the complete list of the thirteen national championships conducted each year:

Two other events, the Men's and Women's State Team Championships, are conducted every other year.

The USGA also helps conduct three international competitions -- the Walker Cup and Curtis Cup matches, and the World Amateur Team Championships.

Women's Amateur Public Links

PAR AND YARDAGE - Red Tail Golf Club will play at 6,165/6,267 yards and a par of 36-36—72.

ARCHITECT - Red Tail Golf Club was designed by Brian Silva and opened in 2002.

COURSE SETUP - The USGA Course Rating® for the WAPL Championship at Red Tail Golf Club is 75.7 and USGA Slope Rating® is 134.

Tees, fairways, approaches and collars, height of grass – 0.45-.50 inch

Putting greens, height of grass – 0.120 inch with a speed of 10.5-11 feet on USGA Stimpmeter

Intermediate Rough – 1.25 inches

Graduated Rough – 3.5 inches

ADMISSION - Admission is free. Tickets are not needed for this USGA championship and spectators are encouraged to attend.

Monday, June 22 — First round, stroke play (18 holes)
Tuesday, June 23 — Second round, stroke play (18 holes)
Wednesday, June 24 — First round, match play (18 holes)
Thursday, June 25 — Second round, match play (18 holes); Third round, match play (18 holes)
Friday, June 26 — Quarterfinals, match play (18 holes); Semifinals, match play (18 holes)
Saturday, June 27 — Final, match play (36 holes)
